Welcome to Mapd, a travel media-sharing platform that allows users to organize, revisit, and share their journeys through country-specific albums and an interactive world map. By accessing or using the Mapd app or services (“Mapd,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
You must be at least 13 years old to use Mapd. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You retain ownership of all photos, videos, and captions (“User Content”) you upload. By uploading content, you grant Mapd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute your content within the app, including public sharing via map links or the community map if selected by you.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. Mapd reserves the right to remove content that violates our policies or applicable law.
Content shared to the community map is subject to manual review and approval. We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or reject community submissions to maintain quality and safety standards.
You agree not to:
• Upload illegal, explicit, or offensive content
• Post copyrighted content without permission
• Use the app to harass or impersonate others
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform
Mapd’s platform, interface, and visual design are the intellectual property of Mapd LLC. You may not reproduce or reuse any part of the app without permission.
Mapd is provided “as is.” We make no warranties regarding uptime, map accuracy, or user-generated content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your use of the platform.
We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use after updates constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
