• Account information (such as your email address and username)
• Media uploaded by you (photos, videos, captions)
• Country selections manually provided during media upload
• App usage information (e.g., screen interactions, session time)
Mapd does not request or use your device’s GPS, location services, or IP-based location.
We use your data to:
• Help you create and organize albums by country
• Display content in your interactive map and profile
• Enable optional public sharing of your personal travel map
• Improve overall app experience and functionality
We do not sell or rent your data to any third parties.
Content remains private by default unless you choose to share it. You may:
• Share your personal map via a public link
• Submit media to the global community map (subject to admin approval)
Only content you explicitly share is visible to others.
We take reasonable security measures to protect your content and personal information. While we strive to protect user data, no system is 100% secure, and you use Mapd at your own discretion.
You may request deletion of your data or account at any time by contacting us at ryan@mapd.app
